Vanessa Vice

I am a strict constructionist and will follow the constitution as a judge, and I will not legislate from the bench.  I will continue to work toward creating a more efficient and effective process in diverting those people with mental illness out of the criminal justice system and aid them in receiving the support and treatment they need.  As a prosecutor I strive to get justice for victims of crime while remembering that not every person charged with an offense deserves incarceration.  As a judge I will take that mentality to the bench, and provide individuals with the ability to be rehabilitated and deterred from returning to the criminal justice system.  I have dedicated my life to serving the citizens of Grayson County, and will continue that pledge if elected as Judge of County Court at Law 2.
